What dzbuy is

dzbuy.org is a free platform on which operators of DayZ servers can run a marketplace for their community. Every server has its own marketplace, its own currency and its own team, which sets the rules there.

dzbuy provides the software. Contracts about items are made between the players; the handover happens inside the game.

No real money

All currencies on dzbuy are in-game values without monetary worth. Selling, buying or exchanging game content for real money, cryptocurrency or other goods of value is prohibited and will lead to the account being suspended. This also follows from the Bohemia Interactive Game Content Usage Rules.

There is no claim to a balance, an item or compensation of any kind.

Your account

One person, one account. You are responsible for keeping your password safe. Sharing accounts, automated access and impersonating other players are not allowed.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

Behaviour

No insults, no harassment, no discriminatory or illegal content, no spam, no advertising for other services. Messages must not contain links, addresses or files — the software blocks these anyway.

Deliberately not delivering after a trade is fraud towards the other player and leads to a suspension.

Escrow

When a trade starts, the amount is locked in the buyer's wallet. It is released only when both sides confirm the handover. If a dispute is reported, the moderation team of that server decides.

Trades still in escrow after 14 days without a decision are cancelled automatically and the amount goes back to the buyer.

Server operators

As an operator you are responsible for the rules, the moderation and the economy of your marketplace. You may suspend members, adjust balances and remove listings. Abusing these powers — for example handing yourself unlimited balance to trade it for real money — leads to the marketplace being closed.

Availability and changes

dzbuy is a private project. There is no guarantee of availability, and features may change or be discontinued. If the service ends, operators will be given a reasonable notice period.

These terms may change. Substantial changes will be announced on the site.

Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damage. We are not liable for the behaviour of other players or for the loss of in-game items.
